I received an honorable mention in the "Languages Matter" poster contest organized by Unesco and Design 21. The objective of the contest was to create awareness about the importance preserving the mother languages and cultural diversity. My proposal "Alphabet Soup" uses a common element in a playful way using the soup to represent the diversity of languages in the world. The judges said: "This pleasure is enhanced by the beauty of the image. The pleasure of the mouth (food) where our tongue tastes the alphabet’s letters - or ideograms - makes us like the language we learned at the age where we were eating the alphabet soup..."Languages Matter!
